Beginning

Finally being able to start my own blog is very exciting!

I have tried planning for the future little by little. However, it seems that God has a different plan for me and my family.

My life has been turned around since high school. My husband and I met online at MyYearbook.com. After short conversations on the instant messenger provided on their website, we met for coffee a five weeks later at Four p.m. on February 26, 2010. He insisted that there would be plenty of people around in case I needed to scream.

((In high school, my mother told me I was going to marry a cowboy, listen to country music in the car, and want a family. At the time I was "deep" into my alternative music, no family needed, and wanting to paint/sketch my way into the world. ~ Thomas' profile had a strong impression that he lived for country music and country lifestyle. His name was cowboy(birth date) and talked about being in the rodeo.))

I had no idea what to expect when walking into Starbucks for my date with the cowboy. My breath was taken as soon as I saw his cocky smile, camo baseball cap, and tight wrangler jeans. First time in my life I was beginning to believe that my mother was correct. Time flew by and I didn't want to leave so soon, so I invited him to an international dinner later that evening. We had time to kill, so he introduced me to his friends and in return - he met my friends. ALL IN ONE NIGHT! Was I crazy? yes. We ended up meeting up the next day at his apartment to watch movies.

Two months later I moved in... It's not that I was a stalker chick who "fell deeply in love" in three days. My simple plans all the had issues which forced me to quit college with no credits and now 10 grand in loans. Thomas welcomed me into his home with open arms and told me that I could stay there until next year.

Needless to say we did fall in love. I began working at Wal-Mart to help pay for rent. Three weeks after working I noticed that there was a small rash on my arm. No big deal - heat rash I kept telling myself. Four days later the small rash grew and I was running a fever above 101.1. We had a roommate at the time who drove me to E.R. at 11 p.m. Our roommate waited outside. Once the doctor took a quick glance at my arm he told me I was pregnant. Apparently my body freaked out in defense and I had bronchitis. Instead of calling my boyfriend and telling him that I was pregnant, I told him I had bronchitis. It was his 21st birthday and I had no idea what to do. So I went to the store to pick up my medicine along with a cheap pregnancy test. Indeed, I was pregnant. After seeing the look on my face when I walked out of the bathroom he saw the test. Surprise! Instead of buying him the $60 fishing rod I had in mind, I had a much bigger present. The next night on Father's Day, his co-workers told the carnies that he was going to be a father. So every carny that was at the carnival came in and told him Happy Father's Day. <3

A month later, he woke me up from a short nap before I had to head into work. He knelt beside the bed and asked me if I would take his last name and his hand in marriage. Of course I said YES!

Two months later.. (no joke) We got married on Oct. 1st, 2010.  Four months later.. We were blessed with a beautiful baby girl named Ember Lane Keltner.

Yours Truly,

Danielle Keltner
