SURVIVING BED REST

Hey Y'all,

Can I just say Bed Rest stinks?

It was/is very much needed. All the time spent thinking my head is going to explode. Not really, but it was very much needed.

Some articles over Bed Rest give tips to get your feet up and rubbed by spouse, shop online, and enjoy being pampered. I don't know about you, but that's just not possible in my case. Maybe if I fill up a shopping cart only to exit out without looking at the total? *insane nervous laughter* As for husband, he works third shift and is helping as much as he can. I did have one of my sisters in law be able to watch Ember and Jake for a couple of days. It is relief knowing they are in good hands and able to get looked well after. I can't chase them at the moment and it's breaking me. God is so great! I can't not express how much I am thankful for the family he has brought into my life.

So here are my tips:
1. Have ready made meals prepared. Even if that means having someone bring over a casserole or meals for you.
2. Stock up on disposable cups, plates, napkins, and utensils.
3. Have someone help with laundry!
4. Pray.
5. Lay down! After being told I was on strict bed rest I tried to sit up and help by folding laundry, still changing diapers and getting "wrestled" by my one year old boy. I learned my lesson.

During these last few weeks, I have watched several profit marketing videos to help boost business and make a profit for yourself. It was very helpful and has me slapping my forehead. Why didn't I start sooner? Than I have to remind myself.. three babies under three years. Or should I say five pregnancies in less than three years. I have been sick a lot. My body is getting a rest. Other than the bed rest. I am going to get my tubes tied after Cameron.

As for sessions, I am hoping to start booking them for June. That gives three or four months to rest and prepare. I want to also clean up shed/back yard and have sessions here. Why? I want a studio. There is an old barn in my back yard is the ultimate prop until a studio can be accomplished. I would do mini sessions sooner than June, but I really don't see that happening at the moment.

My Etsy is down and may be down for a while. As for the templates/illustrations and other products... I am hoping to finish my catalog soon! If all goes well, in the month of May I'll have several catalogs printed to take with me to town and leave at local businesses. I am also making a digital PDF download for the iPad to take with me to sessions. Lets say cheer to a better future!
